10/31/2023 0 Comments Romaine vs iceberg lettuce tasteThey’re full of fiber, vitamins A and C, calcium, magnesium, and iron – just a few nutrients that make them super nutritious! Plus, they’re low in calories, so you can eat a lot without worrying about counting calories.įor those who don’t like the taste of regular beet greens on their own, there are plenty of ways to incorporate them into recipes. Just remember: whether you mix them all together, or just rotate through a few favourites, you’re guaranteed to get the most out of your greens when you mix ‘em up.Baby beet greens are one of the most nutrient-packed vegetables available, making them an incredibly healthy choice for adding to your diet. You’ve got some serious options when it comes to meeting your daily recommended intake of 2-3 cups per day. So, it won’t be beating out kale or spinach any time soon…but it’s nothing to feel guilty about. And with its high water content, it’s actually an awesome hydrating food to eat in hot weather or after a workout. Iceberg still contains fibre, potassium, zinc, calcium, folate and vitamins A and K. This much-maligned green doesn’t come close to the other lettuces on this list, but it’s still far from a nutritional vacuum. Isn’t iceberg totally devoid of nutritional value? Well, yes and no. You’re probably surprised to see this crunchy, watery lettuce on the list. For a healthier salad, just mix it up with a handful of spinach and you’re good to go. While it’s not as nutritionally dense as kale or spinach, this zippy green still comes loaded with a healthy dose of calcium, antioxidants and fibre. With its frilly leaves and peppery flavour, arugula is a fun and tasty option for mixing things up. While you get the best of these benefits eating it raw, spinach is also wonderful mixed into just about any warm dish, from scrambled eggs to soups and stews. It’s higher than kale in calcium, potassium, magnesium, folate and vitamins A and K, while staying relatively high in fibre and low in calories. If there is such a thing as a perfect green, spinach is just about as close as it gets. That said, kale is lower in some nutrients than other greens, so it’s still best to mix it up every once in a while. Just one cup of kale contains more than your daily requirement for vitamins A, C and K – and comes with over 3 grams of protein, making it a super smart choice for people following a plant-based diet. No surprises here…kale is a nutritional powerhouse, packed with nutritional benefits. We just recommend you mix it up with a darker green every once in a while. And with its grassy flavour and delicate texture, it pairs beautifully with just about any fruit or veggie. With twice the vitamin C of romaine and next to no calories, green leaf lettuce might not be the most nutritionally dense salad green around, but it will definitely bring benefits to your bowl. Plus, it’s higher in potassium than kale. But it’s bringing more to the table than its culinary benefits – romaine lettuce is also a solid source of vitamin A, vitamin K and folate. One of the most popular salad greens around, we love romaine for its crunchy texture and mild, sweet taste. So how do different lettuces and greens stack up? Here’s a handy guide to get you started. That’s why our salads almost always use a blend of 2-3 different greens as a base. To get the most out of your salads, it’s best to use more than one type of green, so you get a mix of health benefits. So now you’re probably wondering…which green reigns supreme? The fact is, no lettuce ranks highest across the board – each one brings something different to the table. Why? Darker leaves can absorb more sunlight, which allows them to synthesize more vitamins. If you’re looking to get the most out of your salad, here’s a pretty good rule of thumb: the darker the leaves, the more nutritious the green. But believe it or not, the nutritional content in your bowl can vary pretty widely depending on which greens you choose. When it comes to fibre, vitamins and minerals, raw veggies simply can’t be beat. If you’ve read anything about nutrition, you already know salad is one of the healthiest meals you can eat.

10/31/2023 0 Comments God of war ascension rpcs3They have a specific range the game runs at: 15 to 60FPS. But since this is code from the PS2 era, things are weird. It calculates the difference between the amount of time it takes to push a frame onto the display and writes that delta between the frames to game logic and other things. In all God of War games, they have deltatime. The benefit of this being that it will only skip the intro videos and not the rest of the game, which is handy for those who do not want to watch intros every time they want to play. If they do, we call into the always skip video subroutine. What this code does is it checks if the video filenames match. Int controller_button = cellPadGetData () int frame_count = 0 bool UserPressedSkipButton = false bool VideoIsFinshed = false char video_name = m2v_files if ( video_name = "SMLogo" || video_name = "openingCredits" ) What if we always enable this boolean and send the X button input? You see, once you start a new game or save it, on subsequent runs, the game enables a boolean on the second intro video, allowing the users to skip the video with the press of the X button. It turns out the solution was right in front of me. At first I thought the game referenced the filenames found within the executable, the files being SMLogo and openingCredits but removing these references in the executable still plays it, so I gotta come up with a solution. It took me a while to figure this one out. The game spawns IntroLoaderThread PPU thread for this and the solution here is to skip this process. One being the Sony logo and the Santa Monica videos. The PS3 God of War games has two stages of its intro section. This post will be a little on the longer side because there’s a lot to elaborate on. With the recent PC release of God of War (2018) patches for the series are becoming more relevant than ever. The Motorstorm post has been postponed! 10/30/2023 0 Comments Iceberg alley picturesSafety should always be your first priority. Within this perimeter, there is a risk of falling ice, large waves, and submerged hazards. When viewing icebergs from the water, it is recommended that you maintain a safe distance (D) – equal to the length of the iceberg (L), or twice its height (H), whichever is greater. Icebergs can be unpredictable, which makes them difficult to navigate around safely. You can also paddle yourself out to have a look, or stand on our amazing coastline and watch them sail by (although they don’t move that quickly). Many tourism operators around the province offer boat tours designed to show you the icebergs at their best, along with our visiting whales and numerous sea birds. The best ways to watch icebergs are by boat tour, kayak, and from land. April and May are the months when bergs are most plentiful, but they may be locked up in sea ice, so we suggest late May and early June for best viewing. As you move north, the season stretches a bit longer. The icebergs come through Iceberg Alley from spring to early summer. The further north, the longer the iceberg season. The first four, which are on the coast of southern Labrador, can be accessed by car ferry from the island of Newfoundland year round. All of these locations are accessible by road. Next time I came in, I'm back at the same station. Instead of rotating machines with another operator, I was given busy work while they shut the machine down. One of my last nights there I was fed up with it, after a few hours working on it, I said i wasnt feeling well and requested to be put on another machine. So I was punished for working hard, is what happened. Of course, since I put my back into it while operating that machine, the boss figured why rotate him out. They would shut it down and walk around for 20 minutes at a time. I would see the guys who were in good with the boss slack off whenever they were in that spot. I had always dreaded having to work that one machine, and days that I wasnt on it I would watch whoever got stuck on it struggle and get frustrated. They stuck me on the worst machine, and never took me off it. However, a couple weeks in, I stopped getting rotated. For the first couple weeks that's how it worked, and it was pretty good, I could expect to do something different every day so it wasn't such a grind. We were supposed to rotate machines so you might have a tough day on a more labor intensive machine one day and then a freebie the next. Some machines arent bad to operate, some take no effort whatsoever, and one machine in particular was bad. 10/30/2023 0 Comments Lost ark meta gameThen they pack their bags, go to the next area, and start all over again.
